The vessels of State Far‑Eastern Shipping Company became key carriers of strategic cargoes. During the war years, the Company’s steamers transported almost half of all cargo delivered to the USSR by the Allies
1967
State Far‑Eastern Shipping Company adopted its international name – Far‑Eastern Shipping Company (FESCO). FESCO Indian Line, the first international regular service, was launched.

FESCO Fast Forward project launched to significantly reduce the average cargo transit time from Southeast Asian countries to Moscow

Transit services from Asia to Europe expanded; MY.FESCO customer’s personal account launched; regular railway routes expanded to encompass 45 destinations
2020
Commercial Port of Vladivostok emerged as the largest container port in Russia; regular railway routes expanded to encompass 50 destinations
2021
New vessels added to FESCO’s asset portfolio, and 11 new services introduced on export, import, and domestic routes
2022
Representative offices opened in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, regular shipping lines launched from Novorossiysk to Turkey and from Vladivostok to ports in Vietnam
2023
Shipping services launched on the deep sea route from ports in China and India to St Petersburg and Novorossiysk, and FESCO’s first domestic line launched in the Baltic Sea; eight vessels added to the Group’s fleet, and the container fleet ramped up to 170 thousand TEUTwenty‑foot Equivalent Unit. with nearly 5 thousand refrigerated containers
2024
FESCO emerged as the market leader in maritime international transportation volumes to Russia, also ranking 36th in the global rating of maritime container carriers
2025
FESCO became the market leader in diversification of container routes between Russia and friendly countries, ranking No. 1 in Russia’s maritime transportation segment. As part of its strategy to tap into new markets, the Group launched services between Russia and the port of Durban (South Africa), while also starting to make direct vessel calls to Bangkok (Thailand) and Pasir Gudang (Malaysia). The Group deployed the second vessel on the domestic shipping line between St Petersburg and Kaliningrad, and introduced the third container vessel on the FIL‑W route between Novorossiysk and Indian ports. Container trains were launched from China to Minsk and St Petersburg via land border crossings
