  • FESCO received the top rating of A+ as the Leader of the Corporate Charity, with the career guidance project for schoolchildren recognised as the best programme (project) advancing science and education in Russia.
  • The Great Voyage with FESCO book was named the best corporate book for children in the Silver Threads major national contest of corporate media.
  • The Sea of Opportunities contest of social projects received the Our Contribution award.

FESCO Transportation Group drafted and formalised a charity management framework, including

  • Charity Policy setting forth general provisions, goals, objectives, principles, focus areas, forms of charitable activities, procedures for management, budgeting, use of funds, and spending limits;
  • a Charity Commission, with the relevant regulations setting forth planned and ad hoc spending of charity funds, decision‑making and budget oversight procedures, as well as the list of members.

  • support of local communities and non‑profit organisations;
  • support of education and upbringing;
  • support of environmental projects;

Development and career guidance for schoolchildren

The Company set up a holistic multi‑tier career guidance system for schoolchildren directly linked to its business strategy of creating a talent pool and strengthening its image of a reliable employer. The programme has the following focus areas:

  • educational projects in marine, logistic and engineering disciplines developed together with leading educational centres: Regional Modelling Centre of the Primorye Territory, Sirius.Primorye regional centre, Far Eastern Federal University, Vladivostok State University, and Admiral Nevelskoy Maritime State University. FESCO develops and launches unique programmes for schoolchildren to learn about real needs and technologies.

  • From School to Work continuous education track set up as part of the trilateral agreement between School No. 11 in Vladivostok, Vladivostok State University and FESCO creates a transparent training path for future experts starting from dedicated school education to theoretical training at universities and internship at FESCO facilities.
  • A holistic career guidance framework: Career Guidance Days at Primorye schools, guided tours and professional testing at VMTP as part of the Ticket to the Future project, thematic vacation camps organised by Atmosfera non‑profit organisation to delve into maritime logistics and soft skill development.
  • Employment of senior schoolchildren at FESCO divisions to give them the first hands‑on experience during summer vacations.
  • FESCO expert participation in judging panels of national olympiads and championships (National Technological Olympiad, Pacific project school, Big Challenges contests, First‑class Performance, FESCO Engineers, Sirius.Primorye project school, the Key case championship, TechnoImpulse, QuantoVacations) strengthening the Company’s reputation as the industry’s flagship setting professional standards. The FESCO Engineers interregional contest made it to the list of initiatives recommended in 2026 by the Russian Ministry of Education.

Project to support children’s and family reading

In 2025, FESCO for the Kids, a project to support children’s and family reading, celebrated the fifth anniversary. Since the start, the project has seen over 450 thousand copies of 17 children’s books published, 20 educational programmes launched, and 15 thousand plus kids from the Company’s regions of operation join the initiative.

In 2025, over 5 thousand children took part in the events. Educational programmes ran in 45 Vladivostok institutions and at external platforms. Over 33 thousand copies of children’s book were published and distributed, including:

  • Great Voyage with FESCO (Yulia Simbirskaya) – 20 thousand copies distributed to Primorye schools, kindergartens, and libraries.
  • The Fascinating World of Logistics: History and Facts (Mira Trubnikova) – 13 thousand copies and 5 thousand sets of educational games provided to Vladivostok and Primorye educational and social organisations.
  • The Read, Play, Dream guidelines for nursery and primary school teachers distributed to Primorye pre‑school education facilities and libraries.
Project to support children’s and family readin

An integrated educational programme based on the Great Voyage with FESCO book ran at more than 25 pre‑school and general education facilities and city festivals (Museums at Night, City Day, etc.), Ocean children’s centre (for Big Break national contest finalists), the stadium of the Admiral hockey club, and the oncology and haematology centre.

The New Year theatrical show called The Wonderful World of FESCO for the Kids or a Big New Year Voyage welcomed 860 guests, including kids from social and rehabilitation centres, multi‑child families, and FESCO employees’ children.

Culture Contour creative summer camp

This annual project for Primorye children aged 13–17 was launched in collaboration with the New Teacher charitable foundation in 2023. In 2025, the programme ran at two general education schools in Vladivostok reaching out to 250 teenagers, including some 40 children of FESCO’s employees. For two weeks the participants guided by mentors created social art projects in five creative domains (media, street art, theatre, urban planning, etc.), with resulting art objects and events integrated into the urban space. This is one of FESCO’s initiatives that received the Our Contribution award in 2025.

Project Lab

A practice‑oriented programme in social design targets teenagers aged 12–17. In 2025, over 60 school students supported by New Teacher mentors and FESCO designed and implemented their own projects, all of which won grants of RUB 50 thousand from FESCO Transportation Group. The ideas included multicreative workshops, an educational bot, urban development and animal care initiatives.

On the Teacher’s Side

The initiative seeks to help young Primorye teachers build professional resilience and create a community for exchanging experience and best practices. The reporting year saw over 20 events including:

  • workshops themed The Art of Being a Teacher and Beyond a Lesson;
  • regular meetings of reflective practice groups for psychological support;
  • meeting with industry professionals and exchange of best teaching practices;
  • public events for Vladivostok residents; Live Library of Professions, Think Aloud children’s conference, a picnic and a conference for teachers.

More than 20 participating teachers became organisers, experts, and volunteers in other FESCO’s initiatives such as Culture Contour and Project Lab.

On the Teacher’s Side was among winners of the Corporate Charity Leaders Award 2025 as the best corporate programme of social investments in local communities in the context of sustainable development and business strategy.

Support for family and childhood

A programme to strengthen the institution of the family and prevent social orphanhood

FESCO provides consistent support for families across three key domains:

  • preventing social orphanhood;
  • ensuring targeted assistance to families facing hardships;
  • supporting foster families in the Primorye Territory.

The project saw a reserve fund set up to help 15 Far Eastern families in 2025.

Additionally, the Company offers comprehensive information, psychological and financial support to Primorye Territory residents and employees who are preparing to adopt or adopted kids. Initiatives include a School of Foster Parents, a dedicated club, and mentorship.

Support for local communities

Sea of Opportunities contest of social projects

A Sea of Opportunities grant contest is FESCO Transportation Group’s flagship project launched in 2020. Every year, it offers support to Primorye Territory non‑profit organisations, including public and municipal ones, as well as FESCO’s corporate volunteers.

In December 2025, the format was expanded to include support for family, motherhood and fatherhood, prevention of social orphanhood, and promotion of family values.

The contest combines financial, methodological and expert assistance to participants. This is one of FESCO’s initiatives that received the Our Contribution award in 2025.

Preservation of historical memory

In 2025, the key focus areas were the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War and FESCO’s 145th anniversary.

80th anniversary of Victory

In 2025, over one thousand copies of Fiery Voyages written by FESCO veteran Georgy Rudnev to commemorate the heroic role of Far Eastern crews in the Great Patriotic War were reprinted and donated to 450 schools and 50 libraries of the Primorye Territory. An electronic version is also available.

The Company helped stage exhibitions dedicated to the 80th Victory Anniversary, with the Fiery Voyages as the central event running on the sidelines of the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok’s Russia national centre and then transferred to the Admiral Nevelskoy Maritime State University for two months.

Historical Fund of the Far‑Eastern Shipping Company

The programme seeks to promote the cultural and historical heritage of the Company, Vladivostok and the Primorye Territory and study the history of the maritime industry while also preserving and systematising a unique memorable collection. The collection is showcased at the Peter the First. Northern Sea Route exhibition in the Vladimir Arseniev Museum of Far East History.

Healthcare and sports

Promotion of bone marrow donation

In 2020, FESCO and Rusfond launched a programme to co‑finance the treatment of seriously ill Primorye children. The collaborative efforts provided aid to dozens of local kids. In parallel, the Group is fostering bone marrow donation culture, with its employees regularly listed in the national register of donors and external awareness‑raising campaigns conducted.

Support for sports

The sport and healthy lifestyle support programme seeks to advance the children’s and youth amateur and professional sports while also promoting movement culture. As part of the programme FESCO continuously assists sports organisations and teams and actively engages its own employees into socially important events and initiatives.

The Company patronises the Admiral hockey club. In 2025, we helped organise the Dinamo (Lev Yashin) Football Academy Cup and Russian junior boxing competitions in memory of Viktor Sakharov.

Corporate volunteering is a key tool for FESCO to develop regions of operations and offer employees self‑fulfilment opportunities. A team of corporate volunteers focuses on four areas: support for orphans and cooperation with non‑profit organisations to enable kids with disabilities to realise their creative potential, support for animals in shelters and zoos, environmental initiatives, and preservation of historical heritage.

FESCO’s employees together with family members, friends and partners regularly hold events, visit orphanages and animal shelters, take part in environmental initiatives, and support veterans.

Key developments and initiatives

  • Leadership in the National Corporate Volunteering Council in the Primorye Territory: FESCO heads the Council’s regional representative office. In partnership with the Government of the Primorye Territory, the Company organised the second territorial forum of volunteers.
  • Summer sea festival: a large‑scale meeting of FESCO volunteers from seven cities of operation.
  • Corporate volunteering school: the second annual educational programme for businesses, governmental agencies and non‑profit organisations was completed.
  • National Cleanup Day: the Company organised environmental campaigns which helped clean a beach near the brick plant in Vladivostok, Ob River banks in Novosibirsk, and the Sunny Grove tourist trail in St Petersburg.
  • Kindness to the Doorstep: over RUB 100 thousand were collected and 60 special food sets given to the elderly.
  • Furry Atom: a campaign to collect food and medications for animal shelters is implemented in partnership with Rosatom.
  • Dobry Tracker: 592 participants walked 145 million steps in two months, which the Company converted into donations to the Volunteering Support for Orphans foundation.
  • Kind Letters: 64 volunteers drafted and sent personal letters of gratitude to 182 FESCO veterans.

In 2025, three FESCO volunteers received letters of gratitude from the Governor of the Primorye Territory and two volunteers were awarded Rosatom’s badges of honour for contribution to volunteering.

Support for cultural and educational initiatives is an integral part of FESCO’s social policy. By exercising a systemic partnership approach, the Company transforms traditional support into an effective tool to build human capital and enhance a shared social and cultural space.

Development of the cultural environment and public spaces

Two years since the opening of the State Tretyakov Gallery in Vladivostok

Established in Vladivostok in collaboration with FESCO, the Tretyakov Gallery’s public space celebrated its two‑year anniversary in 2025. Over this period, the space welcomed some 17 thousand residents and city guests and hosted around 500 various lectures, film shows, workshops and other events.

FESCO supports monthly Book Parlor and Film Friday initiatives presenting new books on the Far East and Russian painters and festival films. Participation is free, but registration is needed.

Art Harbour festival during the Eastern Economic Forum

In 2025, the Art Harbour festival of modern street art was organised on the sidelines of the 10th Eastern Economic Forum in collaboration with FESCO.

Guests attended over 60 events, including 27 workshops, six lectures, nine concerts, and over 20 various creative activities.

Development of professional competencies in science, culture and art

In 2025, FESCO ran a series of educational initiatives to develop professional competencies in art and culture. A focus was made on master’s programmes in Vladivostok and Kaliningrad in partnership with the Tretyakov Gallery, based in leading regional universities.

Making art more accessible: from the Far East to Turkey

Horizon international theatre festival in Petropavlovsk‑Kamchatsky

In 2025, FESCO acted as a logistics partner of the Horizon theatre festival in Petropavlovsk‑Kamchatsky organised by the Russian Ministry of Culture as part of the federal Far East development programme.

During 45 days the Group provided comprehensive support for the delivery of decorations from Irkutsk to Petropavlovsk‑Kamchatsky and back, including continuous monitoring of timelines and priority handling of containers across the entire logistics chain. Thanks to FESCO more than 5 thousand local residents could enjoy highly artistic theatrical performances.

Guest performance of Eifman Ballet of St Petersburg in Turkey

FESCO supports outstanding cultural projects seeking to strengthen international ties and promote Russian arts abroad.

In 2025, the Group provided logistics support to the guest performance of the Eifman Ballet of St Petersburg in Turkey as part of the 16th International Istanbul Opera and Ballet Festival. The performance welcomed over 8 thousand spectators.

Preservation of cultural and historical heritage

Partnership with the Russian Geographical Society

FESCO Transportation Group and the Russian Geographical Society signed a cooperation agreement during the St Petersburg International Economic Forum. The flagship project was a large‑scale restoration of the unique mapping monument – Semen Remezov Map of Siberia from the Chinese Borders.

Support of initiatives celebrating the 165th anniversary of Vladivostok

In 2025, Vladivostok celebrated its 165th anniversary. An important transportation hub of the Far East, the city unites sea, rail and road transportation modes, and is therefore closely linked to the history of FESCO Transportation Group.

The celebration aimed to emphasise Vladivostok’s status as the city of military glory. FESCO became the City Day’s official partner with a significant representation at key venues.

Online and offline formats reached out to more than 50 thousand people.

Generational bridge

The literature heritage of the Far East to the libraries of Vladivostok

As part of cooperation with the Vladivostok centralised library system, FESCO acted as a cultural patron and integrator, supporting the donation of unique books created in collaboration with FESCO and closely linked to local history, to the city:

  • Far East. Through Time and Distance – a collection of stories from Far Eastern writers published as part of the literature workshop of the Dom Tvorchestva Peredelkino and the Group;
  • The Inception of Dobroflot and Dobroflot. Express Voyages – historical books reprinted by the Russian Geographical Society in partnership with FESCO.

Initiatives for the senior generation

In 2025, the Company continued to arrange educational and cultural events for its veterans.

In the Public Space of the State Tretyakov Gallery in Vladivostok, veterans attended a series of various events: film shows, lectures, and interactive exhibitions. In the Vladimir Arseniev Museum of Far East History, FESCO employees and veterans had a private viewing of the Hymns of the City exhibition.

Integration of partnership programmes and corporate projects into FESCO’s corporate culture

In 2025, FESCO provided its employees with opportunities for cultural development through partnership with Russia’s leading museums and cultural institutions. During the year, the Company employees attended over 200 events as part of partnership programmes in the regions of FESCO’s operation.

Additionally, the employees were offered:

  • free visits to events by museums partnering with FESCO;
  • guided tours around temporary and permanent exhibitions;
  • special terms to organise corporate events for the Company’s marketing and commercial units.
